Founded in 1979, SPARTA is a systems engineering and advanced technology company. We are dedicated to serving our nation's needs within our core business areas of strategic defense and offense systems, tactical weapons systems, space systems, and information systems. Our employee salaries and total bonus funds are consistent with our competitors. Individual salary increases are based on growth in personal capability and growth in responsibility. All employees are eligible for annual bonuses or spot bonuses during the year. Our bonus plan is unique in that our bonuses are widely distributed. Over the past 5 years, over 75% of our total bonus funds have been awarded to employees below the upper and middle management level.

The SPARTA stock plan is the most important element of our incentive program. Unlike stock plans in most corporations, our stock plan is purely an incentive program rather than a mechanism for raising cash for the company. Every full-time employee at SPARTA is eligible for owning stock of stock options with extra additional stock options awarded based on individual contributions to business success and profitability. In fact, over 95% of full-time employees are granted stock options each year.
