Logistic Engineering

Three Logistics Support Analysis tools which SPARTA has developed and uses are: LOGAM Desktop : The Logistics Analysis Model, LOGSIM : The Logistics Simulation, and TOPSAM : The Total Operating and Support Analysis Model. Each of the models has been approved and is used throughout the Army Logistics community. Both LOGAM Desktop and TOPSAM have been approved by the Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA) and are listed in AMC PAM 700-4. LOGAM Desktop has undergone a Technical Requirements Analysis (TRA) by LOGSA, and has been approved for most of the standard LSA tasks, such as those listed in MIL-STD 1388. LOGSIM has been approved by the BMDO Analytical Toolbox (ATB), and has gone through a confidence assessment as a part of the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) process for admission to the ATB.
